SYNOPSIS:
Butcher, Baker or Candlestick Maker: there is one thing they have in common that holds true today – it
was up to them to choose the job they wanted and to do whatever they needed to do to secure it. The path
ahead of graduating students is no different, irrespective of your degree and career aspirations, from
physiotherapist or doctor to accountant or marketing guru, your job and career prospects are now very
much all up to you. But you are not alone and you have the tools!
In this session, a panel of experts will discuss the role of personal accountability in job hunting and how
members can develop their job ready skills and attributes from a range of environments, and access the
networks they need, by drawing on the resources and support available from a range of environments
including Golden Key and their university.
